Project requirement
During our initial meeting with the customer we saw from the garden itself that it was a pretty large area that couldn’t really be used due to the steep slopes that were present. We worked together to get an idea as to what the customers needs were for their outdoor living space and what we could achieve. We then started the process of designing a garden that the customer would love and be able to enjoy all year round.
Execution
As you can see from the images, there was a lot involved in this project. The existing garden was completely excavated and then built up again in levels using sleepers walls, sleeper flower beds and sleeper steps. This allowed us to make use of the lower levels of the garden. We then made a start on the top & second pad which involved installing a new staggered edge patio using stunning porcelain paving slabs called ‘Golden Crema Marfil’.
Once we had completed the paving we worked round towards the side of the property which had already been excavated, we laid Gravel which will eventually be used for extra parking spaces and areas for the customer to use for pot plants.
The front of the house was also excavated with gravel being laid for extra parking spaces with a general tidy up of all bushes being removed.
This project was definitely one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects we have done and just goes to show, that with the right expertise and knowledge we can really transform gardens into the perfect outdoor living space.
